Prospettiva
Launched in March 2019, the project is a tailored support program aimed at the recovery of street children and youth in family breakdown or living in difficult circumstances.
On a daily basis, the project provides comprehensive care, education and leisure, sport and cultural activities for previously-street-children living at one of CEF's infrastructures. Furthermore, CEF supports children from nearby communities to foster a more equal and cohesive community.

The project started in 2019 with 6 children, 4 girls and 2 boys, and currently benefits 58 children including 18 living at CEF's Prospettiva Village, 4 at Kiwele's Transit House, 21 at the Msichana Academy and 15 residing with their respective families and taken care of partially by the CEF while allowing them to benefit from medical care, schooling, and other leisure and cultural opportunities.

FROM RAISING AWARENESS
To raise awareness among children living on the streets, CEF organises daily and night visits to the neighbourhood and places where street children live. Our volunteers and social assistants talk to the children and invite them to join the CEF. Often, sport, and football in particular, is a key tool for attraction and retention.

THROUGH MEDICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL CARE
Once they have joined the CEF, children are welcomed at Kiwele's Transitional House, where they remain a couple of months.
Here they receive the first medical and psychological support, and go through a full check up to ensure they are well taken into care.

UP TO FULL CARE AT CEF'S
Once the transition period is over, the children are welcomed into one of the CEF's facilities where they have access to structured educational and pedagogical pathways including school education, extracurricular activities such as robotics, sports and art, and other cultural activities.
