About
The Centre d’Éveil de la Femme (The Center for the Awakening of Women - CEF in acronym)
is a Congolese association for the Congolese.

Aware of the problems that still afflict our country, the Democratic Republic of Congo, but also of its great potential, CEF offers solutions for the education, training and empowerment of women and children to ensure a sustainable development and tell the story of Africa from another angle.
For women, these solutions include legal, medical, and psychological support, vocational training and professional integration, and the creation of economic opportunities.

For children, we offer tailor-made support programmes aimed at their integral development and socio-educational reintegration, as well as academic and extracurricular opportunities, and leisure activities.
Shaping a more sustainable community by equipping children and women to become drivers of positive change
Our Mission
Through education, professional training, sport, and psychosocial support, CEF is dedicated to transforming the life of the most vulnerable women and children in Lubumbashi to build a more inclusive and resilient community where everyone can aspire to a future
We envision a society where the rights of children and women are respected and promoted, where everyone can live free from violence, access education and economic opportunities, and participate in the sustainable development of their community
